Samvsthekids is an alternative artist from Nigeria affiliated with WETALKSOUND, “Smoke and Dust” is his latest offering, he presents an alternative rap project hosted by French producer Aquarios who creates every beat.
The tape opens up with TEJU, a story about a college student who gets involved with the wrong crowd and ends with HOUSE OF FEAR, a story about Sam’s insecurities, pain and fear using a house as a metaphor.
We would describe it as a good representation of that contemporary alternative hip-hop sound.
