Artiste- Mic Dailie ft Stoute Louis & Mista Books

Title of track- Being Black

Nigerian Emcee Mic Dailie gives a new meaning to BLACK on his new single BEING BLACK. Mic Dailie who has been serving us that pure Hip-hop for years now made a huge milestone in his career when he put out the dope album “Seek ye first” in 2016. The 18-track project featured the legendary Modenine and also some of Hip-hop’s finest producers G Lynx and Jonah The Monarch. The year is 20/20 and Dailie teams up with the legendary Jonah The Monarch again, this time for a conscious and thought-provoking vintage Hip-hop tune called “Being Black”. He gets some help from Stoute Louis and Mista Books who all come together to articulate this fine sound.

Mic Dailie describes ‘Being Black’ as “being strong, conquering new grounds, and ultimately coming out victorious after the storm”.

He goes on to say “Being black speaks the voice of the voiceless and represents the pains of the oppressed across the world- so for that I say, Black life- white life- all lives matters”.
