The super catchy name ‘Verses After Dark’, already lets you know you’re in for a stellar album from the incredible and formidable Rapper Teeto Ceemos. It is no doubt the ferocious emcee put together a solid and well-defined project released under FRESHBOY ENTERMAINMENT. Verses After Dark is a rich 10 tracker album with production led by Beats by Jayy, Dicey, Ex-O, Hung Fu Mick, TP, and also features from NIyola, Ozone, Rae Slick, Zamir, Vector, Lord Vino, Chike Agada, Dami Oniru, Moon, April Maey & Show Dem Camp.
Apart from having such great concept, theme and project flow, the body of work clearly has multiple hits and leaves you confused if you are trying to pick a favorite. This is definitely a strong follow up to the collaborative project – Lataaro which Teeto dropped alongside his right-hand man ‘Rae Slick’. Teeto’s style is referred to by many as lyrical, clever with relatable versatility in wordplay and punchlines, mixed with an animated sense of humor that will make even the audibly impaired drop their jaws. This has been evident since the days of ‘Da Finest’ with the Knighthouse crew which soon became a street anthem shortly after Teeto put out his ‘4play EP’ in 2014.
Teeto also put out a mixtape Put A Rap On It in 2018 in what has been an active and eventful decade ride for the Rapper.
Verses After Dark is a significant project and you could feel Teeto’s personal connection with the project from the entire delivery. This is definitely one to add to your playlists. This music that can be played while you are on that late-night drive or out chilling with friends, or just because you feel good. This is that good vibe music and Teeto totally outdid himself on this project!
