David Amechi Nwobodo Popularly known as Barzini, is one emcee who has kept it one hundred from his grimy and hustling days of University of Nigeria Nsukka. His musical journey is nothing short of interesting as he was also one half of the now defunct Duo- Mars & Barzini. Together they released ‘In Spirit EP’ in 2017. Barzini has not looked back since then and has continued to push his brand, while churning out one hit single after another.
Barz is a young and versatile lyricist, songwriter and producer who has been pretty amazing this year and pacing up his consistency with the release of ‘Mirror’ & ‘Rush’ earlier in the year, while also following up with an Album release ‘Beloved Vol. 1’ which has that perfect blend of Afro groove, Pop music indulgence and quality production. On this single, He pairs with Lucy Q, a talented female Indigenous Rapper from the east. on ‘God Not King’ both emcees equally show diversity and versatility which makes it an incredible listen.
