Ko-Jo Cue is an award-winning rapper/songwriter from Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana. Real named – Linford Kennedy.

Barely 208 days after the release of his critically acclaimed debut album, For My Brothers, BBnZ Live rapper Ko-Jo Cue put out this single as his birthday gift to the world. The song which is aptly titled ‘BLESSINGS’ finds the wordsmith appreciating all the favours bestowed on him by God. The single features Nigerian newcomer Lud Phe and it was produced by long time Cue collaborator, Peewezel. The inspirational song is a blend of highlife, afrobeats and rap.

In his bid to appeal to everyone despite the language barrier, Yung Pabi literally acts out his songs with the help of his team of actors. His offering “M3ntie” is a song that seeks to encourage all to pay no attention to negativity but rather, stay focused on our dreams. if we know what we want, we can’t allow someone to discourage us. The song features another talented artist called  Akan. It’s at Number 3 this week on Top 5 Ghana!

Kojo Trip – Not Okay

Our number 4 record this week is provided by Jephthah Nana Adjei Osei – Mensah known by his moniker KOJO TRIP. He is a promising Ghanaian rapper/song writer on the rise. His style, lyricism and dexterity have earned him a name in the hip hop scene. His work and affiliation with seasoned Ghanaian artist and producer Jayso and E.L amongst others have continued to increase his rep making him one of the young budding acts to look out for. He’s poised to impact on the general music scene as well as the growth of the HipHop community in Ghana now and for posterity.

Supa Gaeta – Skin Pain ft Magnom

Born Nana Aggrey, Supa Gaeta is a Ghanaian Afrobeats ( Afro-fusion ), producer and sound engineer who loves blending urban, high-life, hip-hop and trap sounds. A young prolific genius who got into beat making early in his life because he loved to experiment on sounds that he had heard in other songs, movies and any form of sound he came across, started learning FL studio and with time he developed different styles.

His skits and freestyles for which he received nods from industry giants (including Mr Eazi, E.L, Jae 5, Jayso etc ) caught the eye of Hiphop and afro beat lovers, He is focused on speaking on his experiences, people around hims experiences and things he has seen, in his music.
